Scalable Surfaces
A scalable surface is any vertical (or close to vertical) part of a terrain feature that is not a platform or a ramp.
Some scalable surfaces are easier to climb than others. This is represented by scalability distance, the maximum distance a fighter can travel vertically up or down that surface when climbing. When setting up a scalable surface, choose its scalability from the options below:
Scalability | Distance |
---|---|
Easy | 6” |
Hard | 3” |
Impossible | 0” |
For example, a ladder would be considered Easy while a rocky cliff would be considered Hard. An icy, smooth surface would be Impossible to climb – at least without special equipment.
